Digital Photography 2 meets at 2.00pm on the 2nd Wednesday in the month. Our aims are to promote the enjoyment and improvement in digital photography of our members. Participants need to be able to use a digital camera or smartphone and be relatively computer literate. They need to have use of a digital camera or smartphone and a computer with email connection.

We have a predetermined (by members) list of Set Subjects for each month. We ask members to submit four pictures of their interpretation of that month's Set Subject to be shown and discussed at that meeting. We do not have a competitive element to the group as photographic competitive experience differs widely among the members. The more experienced photographers endeavour to help and advise those with less knowledge. We occasionally have outings to places of photographic interest. In the past we have organised a photo print competition between other u3a photo groups and hope to resume in the future. Our maximum group size is twelve members.
