To do a walk of approx 2 miles in the local area.

Any expertise needed:

Level of fitness appropriate for a two mile walk with some inclines. Members may be asked to organise a walk.

Equipment needed:

Proper shoes/boots suitable for a two mile walk, walking stick (optional), waterproof jacket and trousers.

Maximum number permitted in the group: 34

A brief description of a typical meeting:

We meet at the start point of the walk for that day and the most usual start time is 10:30, which gives people from outlying areas time to get a lift to the start point.

The walks are of about 2 miles and last approximately 1 Hr. The locations cover a fairly wide area but aim to start within a 30 minute drive of Dunstable. The pace is not too fast. The terrain is variable with some inclines but not too taxing.
