Description of Group Activities:
Meetings usually consist of a picture-orientated PowerPoint presentation with discussion of the subject and may be followed with a DVD if appropriate to the subject being presented.
Apart from our monthly meetings we try to get out and about and visit places of Architectural interest. This had been cut short with the advent of Covid but we are now resuming Field Trips and in the past couple of years we have looked at Woburn, Amersham and Jordan's Mill.
Amersham is of particular interest as a walk down the High Street of the Old Town encapsulates Architecture from late medieval times up to the end of the 19th century.
So architecture is not just looking at pictures and talking about it but seeing it in the flesh.
