Aims and Objectives of the group:

To learn steps and formations of traditional Scottish Country dances in order to execute the dances competently in class.

Any expertise needed: A good sense of rhythm and fitness.

Equipment needed: None.

Maximum number permitted in the group: 24

A brief description of a typical meeting:

Warm up dance followed by various dances either Strathspeys or Reels. These are "called" by various different members of the group who volunteer to involve themselves in these tasks.

Aim is social interaction and to have fun
