To enjoy using the French language in a convivial setting.

This group is for people who have a reasonable competence in the French language. If you're more of a beginner, you might prefer Pause Café Deux.

A brief description of a typical meeting:

We meet in my home on the first Friday of every month from 13.30 to 15.30, to chat together in French over coffee and a biscuit, sometimes cake, and maybe something special at Christmas.

This group is for people at a moderate level of competence, and we support and help each other to feel confident and comfortable in using this language to the best of our abilities. If you're more of a beginner, you might prefer Pause Café Deux.

Each month we have a topic like travel, music, art, literature in order to generate conversation. Also we introduce ourselves and talk a little about how we have come to enjoy using the French language. 

This is a delightful way to enjoy the French language together, in a relaxed setting over coffee. Do hope you will join us.
