Aims and Objectives of the group:

To spend a sociable time together, share our knitting ideas and helping each other if needed.

Any expertise needed:

We welcome experienced knitters and will help anyone who wants to learn.

Equipment needed (rough costs if any):

Each member brings their own knitting. We do have a large stock of patterns and knitting needles that can be borrowed. We sometimes knit for charities but that is up to the individual. No cost involved. Members may make a contribution to the cost of refreshments if they wish.

Maximum number permitted in the group: 11.

A brief description of a typical meeting:

At a typical meeting we have tea and biscuits or cake. We share our news and knitting ideas. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere with plenty of chat and laughter........ and some knitting.
